Getting children in to the fresh air and experiencing the natural environment is known to help children’s physical health and mental well-being. Young children thrive being outside, kicking leaves, splashing in puddles, making mud pies, balancing on logs. In 2024 Botley Bridges ran some Forest Stay & Play sessions using the fabulous outdoor forest area that Botley School has.
The sessions were so popular that we are going to repeat them this year.
During the July and August Summer holidays we also run ‘Stay and Play” in local parks. Check our website and Facebook page for details nearer the time.
